this is a bagseed. plant is very small unlike the rest of them. this is an expiremental plant. using fish as fertilizer down in the soil. to actually see how much of a difference it can make. lemme know what you think of the LST

I would not recommend rotting fish as fert I may rot the roots of the plant.but since it is experimental I guess its all good. also looks like you where alittle late on the lst.

that stem is soooooo long why dont you transplant into a bigger pot and hide the whole stem up to the first set of leafs

well its a bagseed and i had my lights basically touching it but i guess it just grew so fast. height isnt going to be an issue seeing as how its lst.

the fish were fresh and only a small ammount. equivelant to a couple of minnows. all ground up and mixed in at the bottom of the cup

Your roots will develop healthier if you wrap that cup. They don't seem to like it when you can see them naked. In nature, they don't get exposed to light.

Fish is good fert,.. it's why we have thanksgiving in the US. I second the idea of transplanting and covering the stem,.. you get more roots shooting out where the stem is under soil.

Lastly,.. I think you could water a bit more often. Don't over do it with that organic fert, but water is a medium for the plants to take up nutes, and those yellow leaves and spaced out nodes might reflect a lack of nutes from underwatering.

Or I could be completely wrong.

Good luck.

califarmer85 how much fish do you use i used 2 can of regular sardines i put them in a zip lock and crushed them up then i CAREFULLY dug the dirt around the stem so i didnt damage any roots then i took the fish and put it down on top of the roots and then i waterd and feed on the same schedule and in about a week or 2 th plant was stinking and started to show more and more white prebud sites
& THIS WAS MY FIRST GROW SO I HIGHLY RECOMMEND IT

Rotting fish might cause various problems for the plant such as bacteria , fungi and serius rootrot down there. The cup is clear and what little light you have is shining straight at the roots - From the looks of it there are no draining holes which could also problems later on -

Generally people do not start LST till they start topping ,- Manipulating new growth is safer ( IMO ) but i guess everyone has their own ideas of LST >.<

The stem looks long and slim , id advice you to get a better light and plant it in a proper container.

In soil , any kind of nutrient is a waste or simply damaging for the plant at this growth stage.

For everyone who talked down on adding fish to the soil please take a look at this thread: https://www.rollitup.org/outdoor-growing/87646-o4s-2008-2009-monster-attempt.html

That guy grows huge outdoor monsters and he puts multiple fish bodies on the bottom of each hole. I'm liking the experiment califarmer85 :blsmoke:
yep you got it. thats who inspired me. this plant is just a test, not actually going to use it. but from using it i have noticed a good ammount of growth with my bigger plants from using fish

Hey man. A lot of people freak out when they see node spacing like that. I say don't worry because the stems will harden off.

I always recommend that people (especially those who lst) top their plants early at 2 or 3 nodes, then super-crop/lst for a well balanced plant. You should definitely snip off the growing tip from that plant.
