I just LSTd my plant 3 days ago. It will be 5 weeks old on July 8th. I have cut a metal coat hanger into sections and bent them to form around the main stem of my plant and to push into the soil. The coat hanger always pops up out of the soil. And it seems the it always tries to cover the main steam cause every 24 hours I check on it and it will have covered the main stem with other leaves. I've also tied some of the water leaves outward so the light can penetrate into the main stem. What can I do to make the hanger stay in the soil?
I hope this makes sense because I'm incredibly high right now and my grammar and english skills go in the garbage when I'm high haha.

i would just tie the stem down with some hemp or gardening string and, knot it through the pot the plant is in. or something near by. i had the same prob. hope that helps. good luck.

That's what I've wanted to do but I don't want to try and hammer a nail through the pot just to make a hole, I'm afraid it'll stress the plant. haha I have no access to a drill at the moment. I suppose I'll do it anyway though. Thanks.

I did read it but theres so much to take in with all of this that its hard to imagine and use everyone's technique. I'm startin to get so irritated with that I'm just gonna say fuck it and let it grow lol. But longer coat hangers I'll start with first. Thanks for your help!
