I'm experimenting with some super cropping right now on a couple autos and it appears to be working nicely so far.The one in the back has always been taller. In order to get my LEC light closer to the others should I bend it? Ideas?
These are White Widow autoflowers 23 days old in 3 gallon fabric pots under a Sun System 315w LEC.

Have you grown many autos before? All I've read says not to do anything that's high stress as the plants don't have time to recover. I'd be interested to see the difference in yields. Have you got a thread going?I'm experimenting with some super cropping right now on a couple autos and it appears to be working nicely so far.
I've been doing autos exclusively for about 2 years so I've definitely grown a lot Haha. Usually I don't mess with them but I decided to give it a shot with a couple dinafem critical plus. Agree - guess one shouldn't do too much to auto's except removing a few fan leaves if blocking light - can alos use the "bending method" so you will not be removing any leaves. I tuck lots of leaves too lol. Here's a few pictures. Usually I just tuck leaves to get the lower branches exposed, but I figured why not try... They seem to have recovered nicely. I'll keep ya posted
Bending/tucking is the best method along with LST growing - looking good looking grow !Here's a few pictures. Usually I just tuck leaves to get the lower branches exposed, but I figured why not try... They seem to have recovered nicely. I'll keep ya posted
They are in week 4 right now, I'll definitely put up a thread on them!I tuck lots of leaves too lol.
They look fine like you say. What week are you into? Youll have to put a thread up if the yield is no different to the one you haven't touched.
Looks good man, I use milk crates for my smaller and younger plantsNew
I cut some 9"x9" wood blocks from a 2x10.
Works good. All even at 18" under the light.

Waiting for my first bill. We have some of the highest rates in the USA where I live in SoCal. My fans and light pull about 410W total from the wall. I think my meter is a bit off though on the high side. How much does it cost you to run that lec monthly?
Sorry for random question
