lst v. topping

i am getting another round going and the girls are about 6 to 7 inches now and was starting to think about how i was goinng to train them this time around. i have 4 sweet bud (mix, mostly sativa), 4 white widow max White Widow Max marijuana Seeds White Widow seeds but improved! (mostly indica), and 2 thai stick clones that i got from my buddy.

wondering if anyone had an opinion on best approach to train indicas vs sativas. topping vs tieing down or lst

i like to top my plants... last time i did i got six main colas instead of one it was awsome... that was the most i ever got but if not 6 i would get anywhere from two to five...

I did both, I tried topping, actually with a white widow from buydutchseeds and some good bagseed, both mostly indica. the indica turned out to be male... which unfortunately was also the one we lst'd. he was beautiful, looked amazingly healthy and super bushy. I'm gonna go with lst this time around with a fem widow seed I got from a friend its from kind seeds. it was great because there were like 5 tops and it grew beautifully. the topped widow did pretty good... if you look at my forum profile you can see the widow until harvest and the lst right up to 3 days 12/12 after a 26 day veg.

i think i might try doing half and half. they are under floros right now but will be under a 250w mh/hps conversion after i harvest in a week or so. its a good light but i worry about the depth into the canopy it reaches.

have you looked into "loliepopping"?im trying this this tim around,i'm using a 400w hps and think it could be helpful with the amount of plants i have and topping can still be done,just a thought..............ras

my plants are gna be 1 month since cracked on the 11th, theyre bushy and their leaves are huge and block all of the light of the new leaves that are berly coming out, ite real hard to even see the stem, do i cut them or what should i do? theyre the second set of leaves they grew and the biggest of them all
