Can someone explain how to use the lucas formula with GH products. I know you only need micro and bloom. Does anyone know where the ppm needs to be in veg time and flower time? or when do i need to up the nutes or is this based on ppm also. Any additives that you guys use along w this formual?

Lucas is designed to be used with out additives, just look around a little and you'll be able to find grows that used it and variations of the formula. Maybe take a look a a page like Cannastats

when I used lucas in bloom I found I didnt like the results with the low ppms of 8/16 and the early yellowing so I went to 5/8/16 and
all the def issues went away and the ppm were right in the 900 to 1000 range where I feel its best.

So based if i went with this formula, as soon as i veg i would do 0/8/16 all the way even in flower also? or i can do 5/8/16 from veg and flower? So the only thing that changes is the light cycle?

I use lucas w/ GH, give me i minute to look up a cool link
(Add 8ml of Flora Micro (dark red stuff) to 1 gallon of water*, mix, and then add 16ml of Flora Bloom (pink stuff) into the water, and mix.) Will i be doing this as soon as vegging and flower starts? I know some feeding schedule gives it a little lead way for the first week or so, but from what i see and read, i simply use the 0-8-16 from veg through flower?

What hellraizer30 is saying carries some wieght, I was brokw when i started this grow, and seriously have to pinch atm. If I don't get the results i like i will go back to using all 3 parts, I always kinda thought: They make 3 parts for a reason...

Look at the 8/16 as a GUIDE LINE.Tweak it from there depending on how your plants are reacting. Some plants will thrive on the 8/16 others will want a little less and some may want a bit more.

PPM......keep it under 1,000 for veg and you can go higher in flower.Learn how to see what your plants are tellin you they want or don't want.We can tell ya all kinds of shit but it's ultimately up to you.

and that reason is.. that its for lots of plants and veggies, not just cannabis. Lucas' point/formula was cannispecific. I have been using Lucas for years and I personally have not experienced what was mentioned.

is lucas formula meant to be used with out additives? or can you still use additives?
You can use them.LUCAS will work just as good alone as you get more experience with it.Less you add less there is to go wrong.Learn your plants and what they like or don't.It's easier than it seems.
