about 3 weeks. Not dong so good
The problem I was having before when I tried normal lucas formula, is I'd get a deficiency, now natural tendency is to think "hey it needs more" but you'll cause nutrient burn from a toxic build up of other nutrients. Really the mixture was off.
Try out this 8ml micro and 6ml bloom for veg a litre, which is x3.78 for gallons so about 30ml micro and 23ml bloom a gallon.
I also water mine based on hand height for when they're young. Hold your hand finger tips to the soil, wrist up at the top, and see how high the plant is in comparison to your hand.
Half the height of your hand, half strength, three quarters the height, three quarter strength etc.
Works for me pretty nicely as a little scale, but when I see the plant start to grow quicker, after it gets out of seedling stage and into veg, then no matter the height I crank it up to full strength solution, especially if it should already have a good root mass going.
Also young plants, under a month, touchy as hell. I wouldn't even say you can really do much, they can be in perfect conditions, treated the same as all the other plants that turn out successful, and they can fail for seemingly no reason. I think it's just bad genetics. I have one plant here growing in sets of 3 leaves, like a mercedes symbol instead of an X like shape, and it never looks completely healthy, even though it seems to be.
I'd recommend making sure you're giving it a weak solution, somewhere between 30-50% strength. If you already are, change that lucas formula, it really makes no sense in the NPK department.
I could try and convince you more, but really the only thing that will actually convince you is trying it and having it work, any information I give you can just be shot down as bad info, so experiment for yourself and see!
