Should work fine. Your only concern would be nutrient strength starting to climb, which would then tend to push pH down over time.

Either evaporation or transpiration, it would happen if you mixed your nutes stronger than the plants take them up. Again, this would be a trend over time, it wouldn't happen overnight. The best way to sort this out in your specific situation would be to set your res, then take measurements every day WITHOUT altering anything for awhile. See what it does when left alone and how long it can go.
I’ve been using two for two years now and do the exact same thing drippers from a 50 gal res with one of these in it . Just know it can only use ph up or down doesn’t use both. But works money.

No pretty easy just set it up with the digital screen and get the ph down or up and put the straw in it and it will dispense when it gets past the set point. If it goes way out of range it will limit the amount it dispenses in order to prevent it from putting a rediculous amount of ph up/down in your res. I have the one that hooks to the web so you can get notifications etc as well
