I have a lumatek model LK1000 electronic ballast that I have used for a while. It has started to trip off after about 15 or 20 minutes, and the input button has to be reset for it to come on again. Obviously, this is a problem. See pic for close up of name plate.
Question - will ambient temps over 80 degrees cause the tripping off?
I sent an inquiry to lumatek, but haven't heard back yet. Anyone with input on what might be causing the problem? I am going to try and reduce temps around the ballast to see if that helps.
