Hi there was wondering if anyone could fill me in on how many lumens light i need for veging and flowering?

are you going to be using mh and hps, or are you going to be using cfl's or tube fluros?

i was thinking of buying a 600w hps for flowering and have a t12 cool light and a t12 warm light for veging. my 1st grow.......sound any good?

How large is your grow space?

The t12 are tube fluros 20w each

depth= 1ft 1/2 lenght= 3ft 1/2 height= 1ft 1/2 for veg but planning to move to a bigger space for flowering

What i currently have are 65000K lumen 24w CFL's I use alot for vegging, but personally i like them in combo with my metal halide. Though for my first grow i used CFL's only for vegging, grow turned out absolutely great. I used hps for flowering a 400w, and it was a great grow. I have never used t12, but i have heard good and bad things about it, but then again you hear about that with almost all lighting.

The only thing with the mh and hps is that they do get very hot and you need excellent ventilation
