Incredible... I bought some LED's as well. I didn't expect them to perform well but thought it would be worth a toss in the bucket. They've faired well, like yours, thicker & bushier. I have found my seedlings liking it more than clones. Why... I dunnnnnno.... Maybe it's the genetics of the mother? Anywayz, I've been enjoying this thread & wanted to thank you for the updates.

ive been having connection issues with my internet for the past week, but now im back in action.
lets have an update.
they have had their first 2 nights of complete darkness. its time to start flowering. the HPS seems to be in the lead so far. they are almost double the size of the LED plants, but the LED side still has many more bud sites. now we will see which unit is gonna produce the best yield. i think that root temps are to blame for the lack of growth on the LED side. i might have to add some heat mats. lets peep some pics.

What do you think plant size, and bud sites role will be when it comes to the comparison of the two? WIll more bud sites make for more weight, just as a bigger plant will be more weight. Perhaps they will weigh very close, but the growth is the only thing different. That would be excellent!

Coming into the final stretch! Someone should just make some kind of LED/MH/HPS hybrid. Then there would be no question which was the best light hehehe, all joking aside, I'm really looking forward to seeing the results. Especially the quanity. Thinkin' the LED's will have smaller buds, but more production & the HPS will have fatter buds, but less production. It'll end up being a dead even weigh-in!

HI I HAVE BEEN GROWING WITH LEDS TOO I USED 2x 90 watt led ufo's @ 630 nm AND A 150 WATT BLUE SPEC ENVIROLITE CFL FOR VEGGING, I ONLY PUT THEM INTO FLOWER ON JAN12TH I CHANGE THE 150W BLUE SPEV ENVIROLITE CFL FOR A RED OF THE SAME WATTAGE MY GIRLS ARE GNARLY!!!!! ILL POST PICS
