Here's what I did: I grew out the plant until it was a foot and half tall in a small pot, and then I placed the root ball at the bottom of the bucket, burry a foot of the stripped stalk, so that a good 6 inches of plant is sticking out of the dirt. I observed that doing it this way establishing the plant, making a sturdy stalk and large 5 gallon root mass. Once weather is permitting, and that six inches grows two feet, you gotta get that large root mass two to three feet in the ground (where roots belong.)
Holy MOLYYYYYYY that is Brilliant!!!!!!! It's like ****SUPER.Mainlining!!!!!***** I can't wait for next season now to try that out!!!!!!! Wicked COOL Awesome!!!!!!

Yeah, I have a few. Next year I will provide better support for them. The rain caused the branches to lean, and I've been struggling with bud flop. Next year, I plan on caging them.

@ruby fruit : I only used that stuff twice, because my plants began to bloom when I got it, but I went 5 tablespoons in 20 liters of water.

@ruby fruit , I don't see the problem with having a synthetic fertilizer cheat day. I'd give my prized pony steroids. lol :)

Precisely, @mr sunshine . My objective is to grow a huge root mass. I've found that the roots themselves become woody...aka they become meaty (say you are sawing a branch, the meat is what you are sawing into...) Sorry, I don't have photos of the girthy roots at the moment. I do have photos of next year's crop.

These are my F2 sativa/indica hybrids I created. They express a variety of phenotypes explained by the reproductive cycle of angiosperms. So far I have five plants, and only three which I am interested in. The two on the left are the rejects of the group...Early in there development they demonstrated retardation in the structure of their leaves.

The plant in front of the lantern has weird leave patterns as shown below.

It must be destroyed...:fire:
In the first picture you can see that the two plants given addition soil grew tall and a thicker stem, the photo below shows the difference in size. The plant on the left is taller....

The best growing specimen from this group...

This plant had a deformed leaf, and I believe it shouldn't be kept for breeding purposes...I'm depriving it of water. hah

Swazi Landrace mostly for the first run outdoor :) . It`s a 2-6 meter growing high yielding sativa that fills up with red hairs, it looks very similar to yours and also is very piney although the phenotype im looking for is nice and fruity almost like pineapples. I also got one plant that looks very afghan that i planted off of one seed in an indoor section. I recently got some bubbelicious seeds from Spain as they have a similar climate to us here in South Africa. I also got some Transkei plants in veg , this is a short about 1-2 meter growing sativa however the major difference between it and the swazi is it only takes 8 weeks to flower as opposed to swazi`s 9-12 weeks. The main objective i want to achieve this season is crossing bubblelicious with the transkei .Here`s a link to my grow need some advice on what to do next.
