Lying to Teens about Marijuana does more harm than good.

"I think it's wrong for society to lie to teenagers about smoking marijuana. I find it frustrating when I hear ads from places like "Partnership for a Drug Free America" running commercials against Pot that just aren't true. I don't like it when people warn teens about using "Marijuana and Cocaine" when Pot is almost harmless and Cocaine is a dangerous drug. When people lie to teens about Marijuana then teens assume they are lying about other drugs too and I think they are more likely to do drugs they shouldn't do. So I think it's time to come clean and tell the truth. If teens are going to do drugs, they should have truthful and accurate information."

by not smoking it helped me finish. I was into the hype about marijuana being bad and stuff. I love pot but I can't smoke and go to class, I'd forget the majority of what I studied the night before. so by this not smoking in my opinion helped me finish school.

I think they should leave out any kind of drug education until kids get into highschool.
Kids that are not even in highschool are way too young to hear the truth about drugs.
I would really be scared if my kids came home and said to me that it would be ok' to smoke marijuana,
because it helps relieve the anxiety they get from school.

Once kids get into highschool, they start to learn common sense.
At least some kids do.

The problem is, in my area, we could score a fair bit in sixth grade. There's always someone willing to put "morals" on the line for some easy cash. Or someone's younger brother got a hold of an oz off a lb and decided to distribute. Or a kid found some tabs. Stupid is as stupid does, y'know? If people were only intelligent enough to wait until adulthood to make informed drug decisions, and had the morals to keep the drugs above certain ages, the world would be a far better place.

I feel the same way dude, I have a teen sister and our mom lies to her about weed left and right. Although, I think, in a way, it is beneficial to marijuana cultivators because teens are going to do whatever parents tell them not to do, I know I did. I smoked weed and had sex and watched R-rated movies cuz my mom said don't do it. I mean come on dude, did you eat your brussels sprouts when your parents said "EAT YOUR VEGGIES CUZ THEY ARE GOOD FOR YOU!!!!"????

my dad always told me, In jest of course, that he saw people stoned out of there minds jumping off buildings!! but thats before i found his old comics that he drew
in high school with alot of drug humour. My dad wasnt old enough to be a hippie but he was a huge pot head....

i think this explains the "gateway drug theory" and then they use it to make marijuana look even worse on the same type of commercials

When I was in middle school we smoked weed as a treat maybe once a month...my yongest cousin is in middle school now and smokes weed every fuckin day. There is something wrong with that. I would say the same thing about tobacco tho to. I just couldnt believe it. I asked how much he spends and he buys an 1/8 every 2 days for 65$. where the fuck he gets the $ I have no idea but this kid is in 6th grade. It was a little dissapointing. I didnt have anywhere near the amount of respect I have for the drug. Its different now being older and using my bowl pretty much the same way someone would take an insulin shot. But these kids are smokin 2-3 blunts a day by themselves. I shit myself just thinkin about it. I dunno but I dont think those fucked up drug adds did nething to sway my decision. It just gave me something funny to make fun of wen I was high. lol.

Yesterday i met up with this 14 year old, believe me or not he gave me some dank fucking shit, better than older people can get ya.

I was so pissd off at how easy it is for a 14 year old to get quality weed !!!!!!!!! :)

while my m8's are smoking crap from some idiot :S hahahaaaaaaa not the idiots not me :D
