I agree, it would be awfully hard to trust seeds after all of these years - unless there was a definitive reason to beleive the person holding them was someone directly associated with the original grower. Do you really think a male clone could potentially last that long though? How many folks do you think are truely interested in raising males to where it wouldn't soon die out? (I know you are, and if I had the setup, I would. But in general. )buddy:
as for a male seed, well it would be 50/50 male female if it were seed. I would be interested in someone with a male clone, the thought being, its a male from the breeding process.. I doubt I'd trust the legitimacy of a seed in a bag with a label saying MOB.
I've read a few strain bio's that have mentioned "legandary" fathers - so it's been done. But again those are folks with the resources and the wit to keep those plants around in the first place. I think your convincing me pretty well that the original growers had intent, so I guess I have hope as well that there are old genetics out there to be reworked.
Do we know what MOB is an acronym for in reference to the strain? Given the story, it seems unlikely it means "Money Over B*****s" as Tupac Shakur had trade marked around that time.
