Macro Mildew

I have never really tried to capture any shots of Mildew close up but these deeply colored Blood Wreck buds provided a perfect canvas to show what Mildew looks like close up.

i wonder what the inside of the bud looks like

Like Cannabis, Mildew starts on the surface your thinking about mold which starts inside the flower.

I love Jorge but some of his ideas are just not practical. Who would smoke weed rinsed with H202? Not me.
Once a bud has Mildew its trash simple.
I wont even smoke the lemon water buds but its my job as a reporter to bring you the facts

What's wrong with a few free oxygen molecules in water? 'Course it's cheap and it's no longer a marketable product, but for your own, or even hash...

I would not smoke anything that had mildew on it anymore. I'm sure I've smoked plenty of mildew and mold in my life though, long before growing my own.

As for edibles, I don't think PM causes any health problems. I did some research on it before turning a PM infested AK 47 into oil for medibles. I recall that PM is not uncommon on crops like tea, grape leaves, etc.

Fuck ya but i know you definetly have higher standards than that.

For me its way better than no hash. you gotta work with what you got.

I hear you on that, all the local bubble around here tastes very poor and rarely is full melt because its so impure

Lol you people breathe those pm mold spores by the millions every day & don't even know it. Is it safe to smoke? I'm not a Dr. Nor do I play one on TV. But I'd treat it & atleast use it for bubble hash. I hate PM almost worse then Spider Mites. Once PM gets on your plants it's there for good. All you can do is try & control the environment in which it thrives. A sulphur burner in veg right before they go into flower will keep it at bay during the bloom phase from what I've observed but it still sucks to know it's lurking. Skurge!!

Whatsup sub, love the weed nerd!!!! Had a question, what do you to treat and prevent powder mildew??? I'm in week 4 of flower and scrogging in my 2x2x5 closet tent. I see very small amounts of infected leaves on the corners of the tent. I prune of the infected leaves and I added another 6 in fan above the canopy. I already have a 9in fan underneath the canopy as well. This has slow down the mildew but my leaves are constantly fluttering, is this going to stunt bud growth? if ur in flower already then u are too late to avert a mildew infection... the plant is infected for 1-2 weeks before u ever see the spots form on the leaves, which is why it seems to pop up everywhere all at once and that removing leaves does little do slow it down.

Serenade is OMRI listed and works extremely well to kill the infection from the inside, never use anything during flower, only veg and never flip the switch till they are healthy and recovered

most importantly tho is to make ur room uninhabitable to mildew.. which means keeping humidity low, ventilation high (4:1 exhaust to intake for negative pressure) keep ur room above 76*F, 78 is ideal. also make sure ur roots are not dry while leaves are moist aka humidity is too high also clean clean clean clean clean ur space! always wash hands and wear clean clothes! and ALWAYS take ur shoes off before going near the babies
