Made a couple clones no place for them!

Trying out things as this is my 1st grow. Four plants (ww) in 3rd week of flower now. Only have the one room setup with a single 600w hps. Those 4 are doing well. Just before flower I cloned them and have 2 clones that are starting to ramp up even under a couple small cfls (sep. room). Here's the problem, by the time the others are done, the clones will be too large. I was thinking of using those clones as an experiment, making my own feminized seeds. Is there another option I'm not aware of?

Basically, the clones will be too big too fast for my setup. I could setup a perpetual grow, but I'm just not ready for that right now. Next grow I'd like to do dwc. Already have stuff for that, but again, only the one hps/mag light. Just hate dealing with the cfls, having to move them all the time.

Thanks for any input-

Tie them down and top them a bunch, that will slow them down, then cut clones before you flower them and set up a perpetual

This is the exact reason/way I started my perpetual

Thanks, the simplest solutions are usually the best. Topping seems like the way to go.
