Hi all. I recently made a big newbie mistake and jacked up the pH in my bubbleponics system. I had the usual symptoms and read the threads here on what to do. I flushed the system, including the pots, and put in fresh distilled water with a 5.85 pH and only used 1/4 of my regular nutrient regimine. I did this 6 days ago and I don't think my plants are going to recover. They aren't dead, in fact they look quite healthy for 3 week old babys. However, they have not grown 1mm since the flush. The stall in growing was the first sign I had that there was a problem. Now that I've fixed it, however, they aren't doing anything. My roots have grown out of the pots and are barely in the reservoir and there is no signs of root rot. Should I continue to monitor, or pop smoke and plant new seeds at this point. My grow hut is in the attic and I want to be able to complete the grow before it gets to hot in june/july. No ventilation in the world will keep it cool enough up there in the middle of summer. By the way, I use a 250w MH for growing, which I currently have spaced a little high to try and get them to stretch up a bit.
