Thanks for the link to your cab build. Sorry for not checking back. I'm happy to see you got through your problems. I guess you can call it a "Learning Curve". and you've done well.

I knew the pebbles would take some maintenance, its good material for the roots to hold on to, but not much capillary action. Next is figuring out how to keep an even canopy through flower. Keep up the good work.

Thanks for the heads up on that btw, it could have been a lot worse. Yeah, I used 4 different seeds and ended up with 4 different heights, go figure lol

I started flowering today! and all the plants have reached the net through at least the first part of it.


The container that the plants sit in has this weird grove in the bottom so I ended up using some string to help the plant stay in the same spot.

See that's what growing is about You don't grow to make money, or grow to do this or grow to do that. True happiness happens when a farmer see's his plant from a seed to an adult. It's not about how much of the crop there is going to be. It's about the fact the earth gave you the opportunity, and you're accepting. It always shows me a sign of hope when people have fun like this.

^^ Exactly how I see it! And this is an awesome grow you have going I like your screen lol I tried making one for my box earlier and failed pretty hard.

Hey thanks! Since the tracks for the drawers were about where I wanted the screen anyway I just used it to anchor the screen.

Do you have pics of your box? I'd love to see it. I have so much fun building these things.

Looking at this net is kinda crazy, everything grows everywhere lol.
I'm about 2 weeks into flowering and so far it seems as if all four plants are female! :D

Thanks man lol. Yeah I love them, I'm kinda glad that one turned out to be a male. It opened up so much space. I've already filled the empty space in the net with the other plants.

Day 27 of flowering/ Day 72 total​

All that topping, trimming, and screening is starting to pay off! Tops be everywhere :)
Next grow though, I'm not vegging as long as I did this time. I had no option, I couldn't get a light timer and I didn't want to risk an unstable light schedule.
And I'm almost out of nutrients. It really sucks being unemployed :( The water pump in my car went out and caused the entire block to split in one trip. As a result, lost employment. I live in a really small town that doesn't have many opportunities, which doesn't help lol

So I had to go out of town for a few days. I get back to find a light leak that caused the front plant to go hermie and pollinate the rest of the crop :(
And my out of town watering system kinda failed. So my crop is pretty much ruined.

I figure I'll just start over, find an armoire to grow in rather than a filing cabinet.

Dried and cured the bud a bit, it smokes all right. Has a ton of seeds though. Final verdict, Filing cabinet is ideal for 1-3 plants or multiple clones. The pebbles I used DO NOT hold water well. If you decide to go the route I choose, Do a simple DWC or use the proper recipe for the Hempy Bucket.
