Magnesium deficiency...whats my next step

So I transplanted my girls and overwatered them a little bit, they are bouncing back now but very slowly, im almost 5 weeks into veg and am noticing the leaves were getting a little faded and some purple'ing started to happen in the stalk and some leaves. I went to the local grow store here and they gave me CalMag to give to the plants to restore and bring back the green color. Because my plants were over watered i gave just the root ball area of the ones that were dry a splash of nutes and calmag and within hours they were reaching for the lights again and looking better. Im on a food/water/food/water schedule so that Ii dont double up on nutes and harm the recently transplanted plants. When i transplanted the plants into 10gallon pots i gave them only half strentgh nutes, then a few days later the splash of nutes/calmag. What I am asking is what is my next step when they do need a good watering next... Do i do a food watering/calmag or just a straight water? keep in mind that they had a half strength water and then a splash on the root ball since it was very dry and i am waiting for the surrounding medium to dry up a bit

Please can I ask that only people who know a definite answer to my question please reply, i do not want a bunch of misleading replies

Thanks in advance everyone.

Purple and fading sounds more like a Nitrogen deficiency rather than a Magnesium. Need pics to be sure. And if you do want a bunch of misleading advice this forum is not for you! lol

In the close up you can see the purpling a little better, in the others you can see a lil bit of the leaves curling up which i assume is from the over watering. They look nice and green now, a few days ago they were faded quite a bit and are now recovering nicely. What I am asking now is do i food water them with calmag again, or a food water with a bump up in nitogen, or straight water them the next time they need it

Howcome with no calmag? And yes tap water that I PH, should I up the nitogren a little bit, thank you 209
Just do what you did last time, I would just add a little more nutes in all the N.P.K.

With my tap water I don't need Cal/mag, as my water is high in mag/cal-hard water.

Only time I see using Cal/mag is if you use filtered water or you nutes don't have any

Vanisi...welcome to RIU. 5 weeks in to veg their screaming for nutes, nitrogen and mag would be your main concern at this time. I use cal/mag from the 4th week of veg to the second last week of flower. If your on a nute/water/nute/water schedule I would do half strength cal/mag with your nute feeding leaving the fresh water for a leeching tool.

Good Luck

Update 2 days later: I fed them half strength nutes, full calmag, and added some root booster to help the roots expand a little better. Woke up this morning and took a look at them and they all exploded with growth, not just on one or 2 plants, but all 130 plants, all the tops and side branches have a ton of new growth and all the plants were reaching up high and saying hello to me lol.
In these 2 pics you can see the bright green growth rather than what i ws experiencing before which was the dark purple line down the middle of each one, I will continue to watch for this and do preventitive measures

Thanks for your help guys, cheers!
