Mailed cash with order but John Doe says didn't receive

Sent an order for regular PP, WW and MK on Aug 3. Waited and waited. Finally 4 weeks passed and no still no seed. Went to Nirvana site to place a ticket. Unfortunately, more than half of the instructions to email were in Dutch. After much struggling, managed to get an email to Alice through.

She replied the next day saying they didn't receive the order! And I had sent €70 in the envelope(!), (didn't have change, so €10 extra asked for 5 PP or WW).

I had ordered 3 other times with them and no problem. I don't use my real name so registered mail is not much use - I can't collect it if the letter is returned (don't have fake ID).

Still waiting for a response from them to see how this can be resolved. I guess it's not easy for them too - how to tell if I'm legit or lying.

Posting this to share my experience.. Real risk sending sending cash through an unregistered envelope. I haven't tried ordering through Nirvana, but this may be the safer option. Buying such seed with a credit card is also another worry though.

Alice sent me an email discussing ways of remedying / resolving the above... I have a great deal of respect and liking for this company.

It's a huge risk sending cash through the mail, you have to be prepared to lose it. Even a money order seems like a better option, if the seed bank doesn't cash it you can get most of your money back in about 90 days or so. Alice sounds like a tasty bitch, see if you can get her to send you some nudes...

Postal employees around the globe can smell cash. Or so it seems. I would suggest a Money Order next time if possible. At least then you do have a number that can be tracked as to when and where it was redeemed. That is fraud and your MO will be replaced.

Nirvana is not a rip off company.

I just checked JD site.. they only accept cash, no money orders. Looks like I buy via Nirvana in the future.

Yes, my experience is that they're a good company.. & like I mentioned earlier, Alice had said she'll do something about it.. waiting to see if it happens.

Update.. Sept 8: Alice said they would ship the seeds over that day. I still haven't received them..

I don't blame them - from their perspective, I could be lying about posting my order. Sigh

YES THEY ARE CROOKS!!! Paid with a cc. First 3 attempts were declined immediately. I called my bank and they blocked the 3 attempts due to their cc processing company Voucher Reseller was known as a high-risk. I asked my bank to allow 1 transaction. The 4th attempt went through. As soon as the payment cleared, I received an email stating they were start packaging. Then a few minutes later the status changed to "Awaiting Approval" which has no explanation on their site. Their site also states they will send an email at every status change. I never received an email when it changed to "Awaiting Approval" or an explanation of that status. It stayed in that status most of the day, then about 6 hours passed when I was sent another email. The next email stated my order was being placed "ON HOLD" due to a random security check screening finding risks. The email stated I needed to upload a picture of my cc card before they could continue. Needless to say, the reason was BS because if you read enough reviews, anyone that sends payment by cc card gets the same crap. One was told due to the large order (order placed was only $60) that he needed to send a picture of his cc card.

Needless to say, their website site map does not even have any mention of this surprise, or the special landing site link that was sent in the email. My order was for over $200 and no communication since that "on hold" email. Now I understand why my bank blocked the payment the first 3 times. Read the FAQ page on voucher reseller's website; it is pretty comical how vague the answers are, so much so that they answer nothing. Most answers state contact so and so to discuss...

Any business that hijacks your cc payment right after it is cleared is business that is not to be trusted. There is no mention of this addional process, and without disclosure it is probably illegal. They state that the picture will deleted as soon as it is scanned. Funny, a digital image does not need to be scanned, just stored as-is, and why would you scan it just to delete it? A reputable business does not do this type activity. Do not trust them. There are far too many seedbanks that don't play silly f***n games.

i've ordered from the single seed company (TSSC) with great success, as well as sannie's, seedsman (though i've seen some reviews as of late that have had problems with them, i've recently completed an order with no problems), and royal queen seeds all with cash via the mail and no problems. sending cash in the mail is always a risk, as is ordering seeds online. i have recently dealt with midweek song with credit card and currently prefer shopping with them, but am expecting a TSSC order any day now too.

ETA: TSSC received my cash in six business days.

Man that really sux dude but, I know we hate it and feel like we got fucked sometimes, but this MJ crap is sketchy.

I was stationed in Norfolk around 1985 and it was a holiday. Thanksgiving or Christmas. Me and some of the boys didn't go home for leave and we're stuck in the barracks drinking beer and stuff watching stupid tv, playing cards or whatever. We were a long way away from home. No cell phones and shit back then, just a few pay phones around. Hell I was used to the life really. Missed liked 90% of holidays and didn't really care anymore.

So we got started talking bout "back in the day". Teehee I was like 20! I did have a back in the day and started talking bout weed. I was all over it and knew the neighborhood to go to. We headed down there and these other dudes didn't understand the culture of scoring some nickle bags in the projects. I took the lead roll and made sure I smelled it before I paid. I turned like two dudes away. They were really green and started getting all noid and shit. Prolly never even been at a project area before.

So dude gets anxious and just buys a bag without checking it out. I'm like shit dude, so he gives it to me and it was parsley or some shit. Well that woke a car full of jar heads up and they u turned to go after dude. <Stupid mofos, he was a black dude in dark clothes on foot! That mofo was gone to buy him a REAL happy sack for the holidays with our dough. No way we gonna find dude again. So.,..

Cops notice us. Blue light special on a holiday. Dudes gave em the bag. They smelled it and started laughing! One drunk jar head is like yeah! We going back to kick his ass! They laugh harder. Let us go cause we stupid young jar heads bored on a holiday. Dumbass effing kids. We went back to the barracks. Drank beer. Passed out. Whooppeee!

Hijacking activity? Are you fucking retarded? Your own pictures show that they do not even want to see the entire credit card number and want you to cover 8 of the numbers so that they cannot be seen in the picture.
