The main cola of a branch started looking droopy and out of life. I noticed 1/4 of the top kinda snap but still attatched and i can feel it harden up on the snap area. The rest of that branch looks fine and still budding. Im just worried about the top. Do i cut my losses and cut it out ir leave it? So far its been 2 days and no progress, the pure sativa went through 2-3 weeks of heavy rain still healthy just one branch with a dieing main cola. The top cola is mainly hairs no bud.

duct tape it back. like align where the stem snapped and support it. if the upper stem hasnt died yet, the plant should recover wit a stronger stem then ever. it might take 10-14days, but it should recover.

it broke from pressure of the rain/wind or possibly bud mold? is there any discoloration? or softness in the bud? just a thought it sounds like it snaped from wind but bud mold is always something to keep in mind during rain storms

if its mold i would seriously consider chopping the entire plant depending on the problem... bud mold can spread within 8 hours, thats 1 day at work and you can come back and your plant is fuked ya know? i mean its a personal decision different for every grower but i went threw it last year and had to chop 3 weeks early because of it, remember though its a mold and mold is spread by air the more you disturb it the more mold spores fly around and can affect other buds, you hafta wear gloves slowly cut it off into a plastic bag take it far far away dont throw it away in your garbage or anything bury it (not in the plastic), if you decide to keep it and try to grow if you can try and fan the plant after it rains to help dry it quicker or if in pots move it into a spot that gets more of a breeze theres lots of different ways to attack bud mold do some research now that you know what it is to find out your best option dont panic but you need to work it out asap your plants life is at stake! lol good luck happy growing

I use super glue and duct tape if I really like the plant. the super glue seals that plant up "air tight" and the duct tape to keep here there.I would just use duct tape though if the top really did not matter.

AS too your top looking like ythat after a rain maybe your soil is water logged?

tie up all main colas, otherwise after it rains in a few weeks they will be in the mud.
