ok i got one weird plant now it sprouted grew leaves and then its stopped growing. The two clones are growing but the main cola just wont grow. the clones that are growning is the first set coz there are no more nodes. If i chop off the main cola will the clones grow instead. so i will have two main colas instead. I thought that if i chop off the main cola this might speed up the growth of the clones.

I wish i could take some pics so u could all see.

Anyone with any suggestions on what i should do?

Wow evil. I think your pretty well boned here. I don't have much expirence with cloning, so I really can't be too much help, but it seems to me cutting off the main cola would not be good. Hit me up with some info on your grow, (lights, water, indoor or out, ect), and I'll do my best to help you out.

its hard to tell without pics but if your still in the vegetive stage then topping shouldnt be a problem it will just bush out and grow two colas.

ok what i meant to say is the main cola wont grow but there are two clones growing on the plant. So what im left with is a plant with a main cola not growing and two clones on the plant which are growing. The plants are growing under fluros in veg mode in soil.

So I want to know if the clones will grow from the plant and make the plant have to main colas. As the main cola has stopped growing the plant I was thinking about chopping it down a bit. This might top it and the plant may start to grow again. If not im thinking that the clones growing on the plant will take over.

I hope u get what i mean sorry i cant take any pics

Good luck Evil. Sounds like you should be ok now, but I'm not gonna say either way for fear of Jinxing you.

hey, i have this same type of problem. One of my plants grew really nice and started to flower and then all of a sudden, the cola and about the top 4 branches just stopped dead. the bottom of the plant blew up with new growth but the top is just sitting there....I just left it myself but i wouldve topped if i wouldve known sooner.

hope it works out for you

Also, what color temp. are your flouros, and how many watt's are they? Even the smallest details matter when your using flouros. If you haven't fixed the problem already, try switching up your lights. Keep me posted.

I dont know the techinical name for it but whats growing would be the clones if i chopped them. Plant grows set of leaves and in between the node and the cola a copy of the plant grows. If u chop this will be a clone but mines still attached u must get what i mean now.

Did you ever look up at a tree out in the woods and say "hey look there's a birds nest on one of that trees clones?" LMAO
yeh, branches, clones, same difference right? lol
So how tall is this plant that just wont grow? How old is it? There's a lot of lowryder cross breeds going around. Might be normal for the strain. Some plants kinda stop growing UP and keep growing OUT. Anyway there's a section in here on learning the "lingo" for growing. That might help too. https://www.rollitup.org/newbie-central/3423-vocabulary-growing-terms-slang.html

they must be the smaller colas that grow from the plant any way i topped it and there are two colas growing now so the plant should be fine.

Yeah if you cut the cola on a sativa strain , it probably won't grow back I've had them grow back but they grow back very slow.. that's why they say wait a little while and your side branches will grow outward ill show you one example.
