Just heard the training techniques called mainlineing, you strip the entire plant to its first topping, then 90° off in opposing directions, then top again and do the same, till from above it looks like a capital H, always stripping all growth except for the end growth nodes. Supposed to keep just the ends you want growing to be the plants only focus(it has no other choice) and gives it a nice semetrical shape that's easier on your grow room space, no need to lollipop since you strip as you go before flower, the name does fit your method also, but I was under the impression the training technique was called "mainlining" because it's focusing the plants energy to a central hub to be evenly dispersed into the grow
