Do you think i should reduce the watts and move my plant away a fews inches away? I think your theory is correct, i just dont know why the plant would of done that then.. if there was water on the bottom. would there yellow on the leaves? is the yellowing because of overwatering? or underwatering? when i did water i never watered it alot. just a few squirts here and there. nothing like what i just did lolMylar dosent create hot spots.
I think your over zealous watering this week has left a deep pocket of moisture deep down in the cup, and that when the roots from your growing seedlign hit it it started to drown, then you watered it more :S

there is a good chance it can recover if you jsut leave it alone for a while. as someone said earlier you might try starting any new seeds in a larger pot, where u can just give it one big waterign at the start and be good for a long while
