main seedling might be dead...what do you think? pics included

I think your over zealous watering this week has left a deep pocket of moisture deep down in the cup, and that when the roots from your growing seedlign hit it it started to drown, then you watered it more :S

there is a good chance it can recover if you jsut leave it alone for a while. as someone said earlier you might try starting any new seeds in a larger pot, where u can just give it one big waterign at the start and be good for a long while

Do you think i should reduce the watts and move my plant away a fews inches away? I think your theory is correct, i just dont know why the plant would of done that then.. if there was water on the bottom. would there yellow on the leaves? is the yellowing because of overwatering? or underwatering? when i did water i never watered it alot. just a few squirts here and there. nothing like what i just did lol

another posiblity for the yellowing of the leaves could be nute burn. i read the other day when you dont thouroughly water soil pockets of disolved nutrients can build up and when the plants roots hit it they get burned. this could have been caused by your freuquent small waterings.
my advice right now is just leave everything alone. the damage is done and there isnt much you can do about it besides wait and see if the plant recovers. id try and prop the little girl up with some dirt so the leaves are facing upwards to the light. but besides that just roll a joint, sit down in front of your tv, and try and forget you have plants until tommorow.

one more thing. when your checkign the moisture of your soil it may feel pretty dry to your finger when the moisture is low but if its still the dark black and sticks to your finger a little then it still has some moisture in it. so you may be sticking ur finger deep down in there and thinking you dont feel much moisture when there is actually quite a bit. dry soil will be more brownish in color and will barely stick to your finger. this is my experience anyway.
i know when i was checkign the moisture of my soil my first impression was that it was dry but then i thought about how cool it felt and how the roots can absorb even tiny amounts of moisture. and it had the dark black look of moist soil so i ddint water. it was only when the soil started being brown about 2 inches down that i hit my 3g pot with about a liter and a half of water

First off, how is that soil suppost to drain / breath in a coffee mug.

I would highly recommend getting some peat cups to allow the soil to breath, I would also advice to use straight soil with no nutrients, only water it once with 50ml of water every 2 days. Also how did you dry the leaves? Your best to just let the plant do its thing, and I cant stress this more... BE PATIENT!!

Plants that size, you really only need like an ounce on water at the base of the plant, your entire area is soaked
