main stem turning purple-ish black in spots

Growing in the woods behind my house and went to check on my babies today and the main stem has purple/black bumps on it. I've noticed a weird ass moth flying around that area lately and lading on her (used pesticide). Anyway, my question is does anyone know what the hell is happening? What the hell is this bug? Did it cause it? Need help immediately.

Well nvm everyone. Found out what type of moth is is and it couldn't have caused it but they love to land on green plants from what I've read. Anyway, after a lot of reading I've decided that the discoloration is mildew. Lots of rain lately and almost 0% sun.

Does it look anything like my leaves? Thought this was mildew at first. The places where my leaves are like this stems are dark 3-4" down too. Mine has been like this for well over a month and still healthy, growing like crazy.

No, they're small raised bumps on the main stem that are black in color. She doesn't seem to be dying though. No dead or yellowing leaves, no stunted growth, etc. Looked all over the internet and no one can tell me what it is.

I did have what looked like black bumps on the stalk of a few of my poppies this year. It was some type of bug. Used water hose and soft bush and cleaned them off. You really need some pics....

Found out that the bug I'm dealing with is a brown marmorated stink bug and it is deadly to plants. Any help on killing the fuckers?
