Major problem. Need help with cloning asap!

Well something really bad happened, with someone ratting me out about growing.

Now I have to get rid of the plant for a little while, or at least having a big grow box. This will only last about a week, and the damn plant has to be put to death.

This is going to happen tomorrow evening. I plan on cutting some today, so I could make clones since they won't notice that I've been doing this.

I don't have rooting hormone, so I was wondering how I could get this cloning started without it. Will it work without rooting hormone? I could get some tomorrow night, but it will be around 12 hours after I take the cuttings so they don't know. I've read about people just taking cuttings, and putting them in water to start rooting. Could I do this, and then when i get the rooting hormone, take them out of the water put the hormones on it, and then put them in soil?

The short answer is yes. It is a tough way to go but it can work. I suggest that you take as many as possible as you are bound to lose some.

Make many clones, put a clear dome over them so that the clones stay nice and humid. Since they wont have roots, you want them to stay humid.

when i take clone from my friend house i either put them in a glass of water for the ride home or put them in a zip lock bag misted with water. When you get the hormone just make your cuts and plant them then.

Nothing tough about it. They'll root in a glass of water on a windowsill just like any other plant. Just takes a bit longer.

Just like everyone has said so far put them in a glass of water. Cover them up and keep really humid like 90-100% for the first 3-4days you can back it down between 80-85% for the next couple of days....

Diff strains take roots under different conditions. I would recommend taking the cutting and letting the stem sit in a mild nutrient solution and water for a few minutes before placing in dirt. Then you just need humidity, warmth, and minimal lighting.
You don't necessarily need rooting hormone for some plants, it just helps out the difficult cloning plants, and makes the easy ones take root a little quicker.

you can make cheep humidty domes out of juice bottles (use clear ones). gl may you be cursed with many buds.
