So here is yet another of my wonderful Grow The Growery teks!

So you built a copy of my aeroponic cloner and now your wondering, where do I put my little clones when they have some roots!?!

Well here's your answer! Build your own aeroponic veg system!

So to start off you'll need some supplies.

Parts:
18 Gallon Rubbermaid Roughneck
12 Gallon Best Plastics (Home Depot) Hinge Top
20' 2x2" wood
20' 1/2" PVC
1 1/2" thread/slip to screw into pump
1 1/2" compact ball valve
1 1/2" slip/hose connector
1 1/2" PVC Union
6 1/2" Elbows
7 1/2" T's
5 1/2" Caps
24 3" Net Pots
24 3" neoprene pucks
1 bulkhead drain fitting
12 full circle rotary sprayers
1 396 GPH Pump
Wood screws

Tools:
Power drill
3" hole saw
1" hole saw
PVC Glue
PVC Cutters
Measuring Tape
Sharpie

Ok lets begin.

First off, measure out your holes on the top of the lid. (4 x 7 works perfect)

Next cut out your holes.

And then use a knife and shear off any remaining leftover plastic.

Put your lid aside now and lets work on the reservoir.
Cut a hole for the wiring.

Next, place the pump in and build a little bit of your PVC loop, and cut a hole in the side for the PVC.

Once its assembled, go ahead and put this aside and build your frame.
First measure and cut the wood.

Now build the frame and set the tub in it and res underneath.

Now is a good time to drill a hole in the tub and reservoir for a drain.

Use a PVC pipe in the fitting to connect the drain to your reservoir.

Now go ahead and start assembling the upper PVC construction. We will use the Union to connect the top and bottom.

Keep building the PVC loop and be sure to add feet to keep it stable.

And then carefully glue the outside of the PVC joints together to make sure nothing leaks. Make sure everything is straight beforehand.

Now that its all glued, measure where you need your sprayers, mark your sprayer holes, and then install them.

And now put the lid on and see how it lines up.

It should now resemble this:

Go ahead and drop in the net pots and their neoprene pucks.

I also like to mark where the feet and pump go when its all lined up to make it easier whenever I moved it.

Now, place it where your going to use it, fill it with water, clones, nutrients and enjoy!

I hope you enjoyed this tek on building your own aeroponic vegetative system, I wish you all good grows and happy plants!
