Based on what you all said about the kool-aid, Im not buying no purple weed. Shit sounds shady. Cant stand dudes selling me some bunk shit.

Hey, thats a beautiful plant you have there. I agree with what you say, though fdd, that purple really does not matter in the whole scheme (unless that was your life's pursuit, I guess lol), what matters is...is is it good? Ha, just used "is" three times in a sentence. anyway, what jonny said was right, if your buying from someone else, your just asking to get buttfucked by some low-life dealer if you go traipsing around, willy nilly looking for this fabled "purple bud". really the bottom line becomes: what do you really want out of your bud? aesthetics? probably. taste? most definately. thc? above all...:blsmoke:

40 degrees is too cold keep the temps no lower then 60 degress F the stuff pictured is not Fox Farms but its Humboldt County Purpl Maxx Snow storm formally known as Stacker.It doesnt guarantee purple but if used with outher Humboldt county products in direct feeding schedule can bring out a purpl look.The purple color will be more strain genetics then anything.Good luck

yeah I have adealer here who always trys to sell purple bud for more, but most the time the purple is no better than the regular colored bud. Purple bud is a waste of time!

I love purple bud i dont mind paying more reguardless if its potentcy is slightly less. the visual aspect of the color and the difference is just damn well appealing. Its nice to have something different after awhile.

Go to amsterdam, youll see some different buds. Purple haze is actually one of the cheapest, if not the cheapest over there.

if the purple maxx treated plant turns purple...and then you seed it with a male which was also treated and turned purple ..would you have created a purple strain?
im not interested in neither selling weed or the purple but it would be very nice to have a purple bonsai tree standing on your kitchen top :P

and i know ..buy purple seeds its better but i just dont want to risk it

Ive turned bagseed purple twice by adding ground eggshells into the soil. I assume this is mostly Calcium, but I'm sure there is other stuff there too.

The whole stalk turns purple, some of the leaves turn purple. It's worked every time I've tried it...

Just one eggshell per plant. No egg...

All you need is a 15-18 degree drop during flowering in temp during dark hours from the ideal 75-77 light growing temp. purple is hard out-doors, indoors is alot easier to turn purp! Has to be in the genectics! Grand daddy is the best! get an AC unit for indoors!

and as for the purple craze ! you can thank these trend setters! for that! Purp AKA Grapes as we call it in the Town aka OAKLAND CA,


lil wayne, Todd Shaw aka Too Short aka Mr. Town Vintage, the 1 and only E40! , & of course another Goblin from the Oak, KEAK DA Sneak !

yeah it as simple as that....they set the trends and it purp right now...not just purple dank, but purple syrup AKA codeine promethazine, which is purple thats also hot on the market....every other song they rap about grapes or purp....its a trend and people are willing to pay the price! come see for yourself....

The thing with purple and all these rappers talkin about smokin purple is they dont know what the fuck they are talking about. Just because some pot turns purple doesnt mean that its grape. Grape is a strain and it has NO connection with Grape Ape. Nor does it have ties to GDP. To get your buds to go purple, you have to have an A/C and good genetics.

i find most purple tastes like dirt and flowers. not the most pleasing flavor. not bad on occasion, but i'm not devoting my life to it.
