making co2 with yeast

i read on here before (but now cant find it)
you make co2 with a jar of some sort ,sugar and water
can anyone tell me the measurements needed to do this please
and what kinda jar should i use?

personally, I don't care. I'll humor any question any number of times, however, just a forewarning. You should try to do a search for the posts because this is an exhausted topic, as many veterans of this site get rather annoyed at multiple posts for the same topic. (:

You get 1 part sugar for every 3 parts water solution, with a teaspoon of yeast. Shake well, and insert into your grow via a flexible tube hanging ABOVE your plants (co2 is more dense than air; therefore it sinks).

you will see bubbles, thats when you know its working.
add more water/sugar as needed.

That looks :confused::peace::joint:good ,but what do you do with it? do i put in big resevoir ? do i just plug it in ? i need more details, i've been growing for yrs and i have a small 3 ' by 6' just enough for my own use.I've been making my own with sugar and yeast ,but i like ,that fish tank co2 machine.pls get back to me when you get this ,thank's

yes thanks a lot. did a few searches got lots back but what you described is totally clear and concise. would it also make sense if i suspended the container above plants with a lid on with a small hole cut in to allow the gas to escape. same thing really is it. just that the gas does not need to travel through a length of tubing. i have a thought that if the tubing was for example 4 or 5 meters long the gas may not reach the exit point too effectively.
