Making Hash Question

I just read a thread from someone that made hash with ice/water/mason jars and so on. Sorry, but I can't find it. I have a question.

When making hash with the leaves that were clipped with the trics attached - Do you have to dry out the leaves before making the hash??
I know this may be a stupid question but I really want to find out.

Can anyone help??

Before I got my bubble bags I used the mason jar with a paper coffee filter. But it takes forever to settle / drain.

I like Fresh Frozen trim.

Ive tried it both ways and found it to be a hassle to try and dry it.

This year I had some fresh frozen buds to try to make bubble hash. It was from a premature sativa.

I got some really sticky melt from it.

i am intrested in this my self, i have always used dry trim, does it affect the taste using fresh frozen, ie cloraphilly ..

Ive tried both the blender method and Ice in the mason jar.

The blender method does not work good because you get too much plant matter in your hash. It turns out green because the blender chops the leaf up too much.

It would be better to mix it or shake it in a mason jar, strain out the leaf and let it settle. You will see a layer of hash at the bottom and you can remove some of the water on top before your final strain.

Fresh frozen hash from trim has no chlorophyll taste. As long as you remove the plant matter you will have just Tric heads.

blender method sucks try gumby methode

ive found that letting it dry first helps a lot...... i did it with fresh trim bout a month ago and it never came together really well it was really crumbly


big ass mason jar filled half with water put in dry trim fill with ice get the ol hand mixer out and hold it in ther for like 15 min. on the highest setting you can then pout it through a mesh strainer squeeze out the water let that settle and suck the water off with a baster
run the trim through twice
