The first sign you should see will be the alternate internodes hey. If you see them then they will be female :D

Don't worry man, the plant that I took cuttings for outdoor has shown female sex! only 3 weeks from 12/12 too.

Check out the NZ outdoor thread I started man, have put the Malawis in the ground and the Panamas will be out this week too :hump:

Hey crazzykiwi420 I am digging your plants especially the taskenti. I just sprouted one a few days ago, hoping it turns out as healthy as yours.

Thanks man, I hope I get that one too, I want the stoniest, heaviest pheno, with high CBD.

I harvested my last two clones of Orieng Express last week and she is almost done drying. The pheno I had was very short and compact, shorter than short indicas. It has an earthy, slightly spicy with a hint of orange/mandarin smell. When vaporized it gives a very calm, clear headed and clear vision high. Very airy bud structure which is beautiful.

Yeah the broadleaf is the heaviest with a lot of CBD bur doesn't have the usual indica high apparently

Sounds like a nice plant mate and I can't wait to grow it, You got the chinese yunnan indica pheno, high yielding right? about 50% are like this and the other half range from medium to tall vietnamese leaning phenos. I think I'll select the medium when I do a run of it.

Me and you have good strain tatstes  I'm guessing your a huge ace/cannabiogen fan like me? the breeder talks to me about Malawi at ICmag, that goes to show what kind of seedbank they are and aren't in it for the money.

Awesome, I am looking forward to seeing if I get that pheno. I am on break from trimming the Orient Express right now and it is sparkling and smelling sweet. I would say yes about getting the Chinese Yunan pheno, but mine was about medium yield but that is probably due to the fact that it was a bit far from the light source. I am sure it would have yielded much more if the light source was more direct plus it is so short with lots of budding regions so micro growing would for sure be worth it using this strain.

Please let me know when you are growing yours out, I am very interested in the more Vietnamese dominant phenos. I am a huge ace/cannabiogen fan I am just sprouted a Chinese Yunan seed last week and I grew the Sandstorm from Cannabiogen. You should check out my photos from it on the Sandstorm thread, it is a super tasty lemon smelling strain. Both companies have won me over 100% they really are into it for the strains.

Yeah I think you might have got an extreme Chinese pheno? you'll find out soon when the yunnan grows out. Were yours from fem or regular? I think the regular yields more.
It's apparently the biggest yielding Ace strain, the Yunnan is medium I think. Yeah the Vietnamese Black is a very interesting strain that I wish we could buy pure seeds!, the high sounds awesome - I'm sick of heavy indicas and need some nice sativa smoke for once. I hope you get a sativa pheno from your Yunnan man, I absolutely love SE asian strains. Mekong Haze looks like a collectable landrace cambodian that I really want.

I'll definitely do a journal when I do a run of OE but I already have 3 strains going indoors at the moment. The Malawi has been chopped back a couple times but all that does is makes them bushier! and looks like it's going to be a big yield for sure. I have a outdoor thread going with Ace and Cannabiogen strains if you want to see how the pure sativas grow at 37S latitude, sounds to good to be true haha. Yeah I've pretty much been through all the Ace/Cannabiogen forums because all of them are awesome and gives you all the info you need to grow the strain, was the SS a nice smoke? I have a PCK fem seed.

Mine was from a fem seed so is my yunan. The Orient Express has super sativa flower structure very airy but not a super electric stone it's more centered and focused. I am with you, pure Vietnamese would be super smoke, I too am tired of indica and prefer exotic pure sativas like Himalayan and South East Asian varieties. I have been interested in Mekong Haze from Delta 9 looks intense, also Colombian strains like the Black and Gold. I have some Guatemala seeds from Ace and some Mexican seeds I got from a friend who collected them 10 years ago.

I will be checking out your thread as I am certain your sativas will thrive at your latitude, here in California the faster flowering sativas do better (mexico, Jamaican and such) so I am anxiously waiting for our season to start here.

The Sandstorm is very hard hitting in the head and relaxing in the body and is sleepy after a while really smooth vapor. I got a very Moroccan structured pheno with a mixture of Pakistan and Moroccan stone, it turned purple too. Hope you get a tasty plant from your Pakistan seed, Pakistani is one fine indica.

Yeah the south east asian sativas and middle eastern indicas interest me the most. Yeah I think my climate is similar to yours as the shorter flower sativas do better here too, we can't grow full on equatorial sativas like thais or any other 18+ week strains without a glasshouse. I want to grow that old timeres haze so bad! probably one of the few legitimately preserved Hazes left.

That sandstorm sounds awesome but I'd rather a pure Moroccan!. The Taskenti is an exotic Indica for sure. The mexican varieties are awesome, what's that famous red mexican strain?
Yeah I think a Taskenti x Pakistani would be amazing because both of those strains don't have the typical indica stone right?

Agreed, but don't forget about the amazing Himalayan Charas Sativas, smoke a little and it's alert and active, smoke a lot and you fall asleep. I have 4 Charas strains from the real seed company including Malana, as well as landrace from Bhutan and I can't wait for the outdoor season to start so I can grow some. I need a glasshouse so I can grow some of those Cambodian, thai, Laos, Vietnamese types and the Colombian/Panamanian varieties that take 22-26 weeks.

Hope you can get that haze one day, that stuff would be epic. I agree with you but I was excited to have the combination of the two ever since I saw the strain hunters Morrocco video. They showed where the Pakistani plants grow at the base of the rif mountains and as you ascend the plants become more morroccan, so in the middle they are blended and to me that is beautiful. However, my plant ended up being morroccan dominant, it grew in a columnar shape with no side branches as if it was one long cola. It also has a easygoing stone, not super heavy like Pakistan, but it smelled like lemons which smells similar to another Pakistan I grew called Lemon Kush.

I do not think there is a red Mexican strain, there is panama red and Colombian red though.

Pakistani does have a very classic pure indica stone, I am vaping some Pakistan Valley from World of Seeds right now and it is very dreamy and heavy. If you take a deep inhale of it, it smells like sweet rubber with a touch of diesel and black licorice at the end of the inhale. One of my favorite smells of all time. I have grown pure Pakistani plants three times so far and they always impress either with smell or stone, in fact I think it tops any afghan I have had so far. Make sure you cross those if you can, Uzbekistan x Pakistan would make a fine hashish plant no doubt.

The Malawi has been under 12/12 so has been chopped back 3 times!
Most aggressive plant I've grown ever

Tashkent.jpgTashkent have fine genetics!, love this IBL beauty. Such a different indica aroma, this will be some very powerful ganja.

Andrew2112 - Yeah The Real Seed Company has some fine Charas Sativas and hash plants too, those Lebanese and Egyptian strains look cool.
Have you tried Deep Chunk? that Afghani looks amazing. A true Hashplant - A Tashkent x DC would be something to behold.
It's pure Sativa heirlooms or ancient hash plants for me  no hybrid can be as great as Malawian,Colombian,Thai,Himilayan or Hashplant Indicas etc.

I heard Oaxacan red is rare these days. The Panama CBG and Ace offers is a Sativa hashplant, smells like a pungent indica! :joint: They should do well in my climate this year.
The Malawis outdoor are going to be insane, on a full season they could yield ridiculous. Probably has the most yield potential I've seen, It's like Dubi bred this strain specifically
for my climate! well we share the same latitude as each other at 37 degrees. Spain and New Zealand have similar temperatures outdoors I think - My city is the antipode of Spain.

Looking Great!!
They are so obviously Indica and sativa. I love the light penetration you get with the narrow leaves of the sativa. How airy are the buds going to be on the Malawi?

Yeah a hashish plant stabilised to f9. I'd say most plants are the same with Cannabiogens version - one of my favourite seedbanks.

Yes! the light gets to everywhere on the plant so there's no shitty immature stuff you have to finish off a week later. The buds will be dense being Ace's version, the are "evil" amounts of resin. I have a holy smokes malawi too, they are more wild and long flowering (18-20week) and would have airy buds. Ace Malawi have massive yielding potential inside and out and has an all right flowering time (12-14weeks) they also are mold resistant.

The outdoor ones will get pretty massive I'd say, still 6-7 weeks of veg time left. It might be a little bit of a stretch going into may with this plant in NZ - the weather is so unpredictable here and can go down hill at the last minute. 60mm of rain here today at 10:30 in the morning. Hope the can handle the weather.
