How do you lose a plane??????

A Malaysia Airlines flight carrying 239 people en route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing is missing, the airline confirmed.

The Boeing 777-200 aircraft had 227 passengers, including two infants, and 12 crew members on board, the airline said in a statement. The passengers were of 13 different nationalities.

idk, i'd think it'd be pretty easy to lose a plane tbh.. smash into a mountain at altitude comes to mind. hope i'm wrong, but doesn't sound good..

PETALING JAYA: Malaysia Airlines (MAS) confirms reports which stated flight MH370 had made an emergency landing in Nanning, China is false.

"We have checked with ground control and it’s not true,” said Fuad Sharuji, VP Operation Control on Saturday. He said during the last reported contact at 35,000 feet, around two hours from KLIA, there was no call from the crew or notification from the tower that they were having any kind of difficulties.

“As of now, we still have no clue on where it is right now” he told CNN at 10.45am. MAS is holding a press conference at 11am.

I never like to speculate on anything but 2 stolen passports on the same plane is kind of a calling card of terrorists.

Yes and no... I admit, it does not look good. But we have no way of knowing what the frequency of people traveling on false passports on flights in Asia that do not disappear. I suspect it is more common than we might expect.

Not quite a smoking gun, but a gun nonetheless.

I would tend to lean towards human trafficking or something along those lines....terrorism is more of "our" governments style...
