i'm going to go on record and say i believe it too was probably shot down 

no i don't know for sure brother but several have been shot down in the area in recent years sooooo i'm going by that. i wouldn't put anything passed N KoreaOh no. I saw reports last night but figured it was mechanical problems I'll have to switch on CNN. Shot down? That's just awful

you can watch its flight path on a radar that shows altitude and bearings,
its just cruising then its gone, no change in direction or altitude, it looks like its suddenly for whatever reason blew up,

And Neo, what kind of info are they withholding from the non US? Does the NSA have their own trackers on these bitches? Would not surprise me one bit.... Considering.
Then it does not surprise me at all that they are staying mum. I'm guessing it's one of those "we can't tell you what we know" situations. Considering the chaos after the WTC, I expect they probably know where every aircraft is at all times.
I feel bad for the families. According to one article a whole lot of them are at the point where finding a crash site with no survivors would actually be a relief. What a hard spot to be in. I've seen this before firsthand. Sorry folks.
