Male flower with pistils?

Hey RIU. I have some girls here that are showing a few seeds, not many but here and there I see large swollen calyxes. I looked over all my pants to try and find the culprit focusing my attention on the two viney Sativas I have growing. I was able to spot what looks like a young male flower with pistils? It could be new growth on an extended filament though. It's hard to tell. It very clearly resembles a male flower - with pistils. I've yet to find any open stamen though!
I've grown males before to maturity and sativa's - particularly the more wild growing one like land races are notorious for having hermaphroditic tendencies. Idk just a little baffled atm. I have a few theories but it's hard to be sure. Any ideas?

Those look like pistils to me. Possible hermie, but I don't see the bananas...I would wait it out and see.

Yea definitely pistils, looks like a girl. Just let em ride for awhile to be sure. If it does have any male parts, it won't be shootin pollen for awhile still.

Thanks for your responses guys. I have a few females as it is. I've also grown out males in the past - to full maturity. If you look at the photo in the opening post the "ball" with hairs is on a filament. I'm wondering if this is common for Sativas as they are equatorial strains; growing lankier with more space between nodes etc, etc) It looks like a male preflower with hairs though. I'm concerned because I have seeded females and have spent hours looking them over but can't find any open stamens. It really sucks atm. I'd be glad to have a few seeds since I have some nice growing girls but Id like even more to identify the source of the problems to be in control of how many seeds there are. Thanks again! :peace:

Def let it ride for a little while longer. If you're still unsure, don't risk it. Just murder it.

I wouldn't mind having some feminized seeds. I won't be taking any from the self pollinated one though. I still can't find any open stamen. I have a nice fast growing TW in here and a lemon something that wreaks like lemon head so I wouldn't mind a hybrid of the two. I spent another couple hours the other day looking for these male flowers and nothing. This is driving me nuts. There has to be an open stamen somewhere, it's just no showing up. :peace:
