so i took some bad advice from some random pages on the internet i guess and went on to 12/12 last night at 530 came back on at 530 this morning shut off at 530 and turned her back on at 1230 because my former grower before the diy project said theyre not ready yet i had plenty of time to still veg. i usually use a 400watt metal halide but i used a hps to bloom for like 16hours so im wondering did this mess up my babies? i know it STRESSED them the f out but r they still my lil girls ????? :( will post a pic in a min just waiting on the darn pc

If you are using a digital camera, most of them have a macro setting for closeups. The symbol is a flower similar to fire power flower in super mario bros. Set it to that and then take the pics.

Wait, so they were only on 12/12 for a day and then you switched back?

Seriously, nothing has happened yet, they aren't stressed from it, pretend it was an overcast day. You are good to go!

ya the schedule was as of follows before this they ran 18/6
i put the HPS in at like 3
lights shut off at 530pm 12/31
lights turn on 530 am 1/1
lights off 530pm 1/1
lights on 12am 1/2 a lil over an hour ago


but idk if all the hairs were already ther before and im just tripping or if i hemied it? started flowering it? or something?

It wouldn't stress them that bad as long as you were still giving daily light...now if they were in complete darkness for 24hrs. it would stress them, but it usually takes a week to transition from veg to bloom so you should be fine with minimal stress

awesome i found it ill see if theyre better and post em its an oldish camera so fingers crossed

they were in complete darkness for 12 could it hermi it tho??

not too long i think 3 or 4 harvests but his last batch was primo he said he got 9 oz of two plants w/ a 400w setup similar to mine

Naw 12 hours dark is what flower requires, you'll be fine and so will your girl, just get her back on 18/6 she'll be fine..smoke one and let her flourish :joint:

And if you take the advice of credible growers on here and get into SCROG, SOG, LST, topping etc. if you do some reading you'll find you can get almost 11 or 12 oz's under 400 watts of light if veg has been given time ( 6-8 weeks is optimal)

right now they are currently like 22inches tall and were topped at the 8th node (@9inches) he also had me cut off some of the water leaves toward the bottom he said wen they get taller were going to bend them downwards and grid it
