this plant has been in the 12/12 room for 5 days now it has lil balls growing at the top nodes is it still to early to tell if it is a male? also why would the big fan leaves be curling up and drying from the bottom of the plant up is this normal? i water it only when it needs it with bat guano once then once with regular water. the 400 watt upgraded hps light is about 2 ft away from tops of plants. take a look at the pics below, any info would be of great help. thanks from sirdoughboy

Your gonna have to take some better closer pictures for anyone to help you but from the pics my guess is male.
As far as the leaves...I'm not sure check the plant problem threads that are stickied but w/e happened I would say happened and than was fixed because none of the other foliage has it. Unless the new foliage follows suit soon I wouldn't worry too much about it. In the last couple weeks did you change anything? Did you switch fertilizers or use different additives, water or anytrhing? If so that's probably the answer.

My guess is that it's male. It's hard to tell in those pics, but it looks like i can see some tiny balls at some of those internodes.

I'm also going to say male, but those pics and or your camera are shite. Get some better ones up so we can actually see.

thanks for your replies, i got rid of that possible male just to be safe. i aerate water for 24 hours before i water my plants. and one table spoon of bat guano every other time so i have no salt build up.or over fertilize. with all this been said should i keep this process up or am i doing anything wrong? it is my first time indoor and im full of questions?????????????from sirdoughboy

Does the bat guano make the mix acidic? Low PH could be starving the plant, causing a deficiency, even though there are plenty of nutes in the soil.
