this is the only one of 5 seeds that sprouted for me. Can some one tell me weather it is a female or male?

yes!I think that I see a pistil but it is hard to tell. I would say it is a female. Is the circled part a white hair? If so than you have yourself a female, congrats

I am not sure yet.
she is 9 inches tall right now. I might take her up to 14 inches or so and then switch to flower.
i have a small box and she is growing with 2 clones right now in the veg room.
I am harvesting some clones on friday so that will free up room in my flower room.

I heard fan leaves can block the rest of the plants light below it.

The plant needs the leaves to collect light and perform photosynthesis. All you will be doing is stressing the plant if you take off fan leaves. The only time I have heard of removing leaves is to allow for better airflow underneath the plant, I have done this once and I think my harvest suffered
