Male or Female??

Never really had a problem identifying sex until this one. It's a shortrider from Nirvana. 8 weeks old (I thought I would be harvesting in 8 weeks). Very compact growth, about 8" high by 13" wide with dense growth. I had to use my usb microscope to take the picture because I couldn't get the camera close enough. I'm really thinking male but looking for verification. Any one venture a guess?

kinda hard to tell from the pic. but i grew SR from Nirvana and was the fricken worst plant i ever grew. had barely any trichs on it. the buds where deformed and it flowered for about three months.. Never again.. good luck with ur's

This is my first shipment of Nirvava seeds and I have to say I'm not very impressed so far. Including the one pictured, I have two of the Short Ryders (from a 10 pack special). The other one has the trunk growing in a corkscrew shape (at least it is a female). My other two plants are Bubblishous (female seeds) but they are very stunted with very small leaves. At least they are showing female flowers. I was happy with the service from Nirvana but I'll withhold final judgement on quality until I grow the rest of the seeds.

Are you guys pushing them too fast? When I have I have had problems determining their gender. With a couple of A/G's I can let nature take its course and it generally works out fine.

Good advice, HSA. I checked today and white pistils are starting to appear. It's been 8 weeks. This is my first try with auto flower and I had read that they were 8 weeks to harvest. Maybe they are a little confused because I'm located in the southern hemisphere and the seeds were bred in the northern hemisphere. I have always lived in the US and since moving down here I personally stay confused. The seasons are the opposite and after almost 3 years I still can't can't get used to shorter days in June, July and August. Then longer days in December, January and February. Factor in daylight savings and the time difference varies from 1-3 hours a day at different times of the year. Imagine celebrating Christmas in the middle of Summer!

It is hard to tell the sex from this pic. I just smoked some short rider and it does the trick. It got very frosty and stunk like a skunk. It took 75ish days from seed. It is not fabulous but it is ok. heh I got almost 2 ozs off of her and she was about 2 feet tall. Here is a pic, check my journal to see more.
