Male Plant going Hermie?

So I've read a number of posts and what not regarding female plants going hermie. Does anyone have any experience with a male plant going hermie? Or is it just possible that I started out with a hermie plant with a primarily male dominance?

After taking a clone from the first plant of my first grow, putting it in 12/12, and seeing clusters of male flowers, I chopped it. I did however keep the clone with the thought of at least trying to get some pollen out of it.

I checked on it this morning, and on one of the lower branches, what do I find, but a female flower pushing out a pistil.

I'd hate to think that I had a female mother plant and the clone was so stressed that it went straight to male!

i dont think its possible. males are xy, females and hermies are xx. you cant change the chromosomes without certain dangerous chemicals.

males can express female traits - sometimes from stress
i have had 2 males show pistils
one did it after a branch pruning(cut male tops to harvest pollen)
the other male had a tiny female cola at the tip, was quite the sight
