heya RIU

is this a male plant?

2 weeks into flower.

Celtic Berry from planetskunk

Running a DWC/bubbleponics setup

it's in a reservoir with 2 other female plants

the roots are all entangled.

how can i get rid of the male plant and it's roots?

if imlazy to pull him out totally can i just trim him naked and just leave him there throughout the flowering period?

err. i dont want to risk all the roots rotting in my reservoir? its like the whole res is full of roots?

this is no small reservoir like 40L of water...

If u cudn b asked, or dun wana risk cutting it, then another option is to put a big plastic bag over it n duct tape it at the base of the stem. The male is allowed to live, whilst keeping that evil pollen locked up.
Tho i recommend bagging it n then cutting it.
Just cut it below ur nodes. The plant will still live, but will not grow anymore as it's not vegging.

if i put a bag over it and duct tape it at the base will the plant still live? hahaha sounds extreme like kidnapping.

how is the plant gonna live if there is no light getting to it?

Plants can take in extreme amounts of light.. A plastic bag over it wudnt stop that.
Cut it a couple of inches under the first branches.
I did this with a Hermie in my last grow, didnt have a problem.
But id definately go with cutting it. The plant wont continue to flower as it has no flowering sites left to grow them.
It will need to Re-Veg to do anything, but u simply wont let it as u r Mother-Nature.

so are you worried more about the roots possibly degrading slowly over time, or any one of those by now well developed pollen sacks to burst open and infect all your pretty ladies with copious amounts of seeeed......chop that motha down, make some hash or something but dont risk the others at any expense
