Lots of people have preferences or things they think are hot. I find lots of things hot, but snakebites drive me crazy, catch my eye, make me feel like ravishing someone just being snakebites. It's a very specific thing. It's more than just saying 'I prefer blonde girls' or something like that. Lots of people say they have a fetish when they mean they just like it, and don't mean it literally.

Not sure how to better explain without resorting to wikipedia.

Thankyou. 'Trends' are stupid. The clothes aren't, but latching onto or ditching certain clothes just because other people got bored of doing so is. History tends to repeat itself in fashion anyway.
