Mandala Satori Seeds

This is my first post in a forum; please bear with me. My history of cultivation started with germination of random bag-seed and never made it past the first month (parents, room-mates, etc.). I'm currently in the 3rd week of flowering in my first REAL grow. :fire: I'm running a 35 gallon reservoir (1000 ppm / 5.7-5.9 pH) [changing it tomorrow] with an ebb n' flow 25- three gallon pot system [hydroton]. 9' X 9' footprint but 10' X 11' room. I'm growing Dutch Passion's Power Plant from clones. For the hell of it, two of the pots have Purple Kush. I have four 600 watt HPS in Sun Systems' Magnum XXXL 6" vent hoods. Half push half pull load on can fan. CO2 enriched 1385ppm, 80 degrees Fahrenheit during the day and about 67 at night, 50-75 rH [looking for dehumidifier]. Looking radical. I will have pics up soon in another thread.

On to the subject of my post....

We bought Mandala Satori seeds and received them yesterday. I know how to germinate seeds, but I can't decide what method I want to use to grow them. Do I use rockwool cubes to start the seed and then stick them in hydroton in 6'' netted pots? Do I use a paper towel and stick the seedling in hydroton and keep it moist?

I plan on keeping a mother and a father for breeding experimentation.

:wall:

I tell myself to keep it simple - Grow seeds, sex clones, remove males, tame mother, take clones, grow, harvest, and repeat- but I would like to know if I can improve upon the 10 seeds I purchased.

Also I look forward to playing with a Power Plant X Satori cross - hopefully it will be high yield, mind blowing high and taste

As for growing my mother(s) and father(s) - I was thinking five gallon DWC and SCROGging under a 400W MH with a 3' X 3' section of netting for each.

My Cloning room is a 10' X 10' area. I plan on using it for cloning and vegging and using my other room for flowering. I want to veg in an AeroFlo2 36 site aeroponic system, but I worry that the transfer from aeroponic to hydroton pots might be too stressful. Also I worry that the roots might be entangled. Any thoughts or suggestions?

I plan on using this thread to show how the grow goes. Pictures might be a problem due to my computer's internet being unreliable. I will get the pictures here one way or another, don't worry.

Merry medicating - :leaf: :bigjoint:

Reading a book on advance cultivation and breeding of cannabis and found the answers to some of my genetics questions. If I can get it out of the words and in to pictures - I'll be set.

going to germ in rockwool, then put in 6" netted pot with hydroton. The pot is then going in something similar to Gen. Hydro's PowerGrower.

hey man not to come off like a dick , but posting pics of "stealth " shipping methods is a bad idea . well it kinda make it not so stealthy . if you can i would suggest for them to be removed . thanx dood

a miracle of sorts.... I germinated six seeds with 100% germ rate (pics will come in another post) and I found one of them to have three cotyledons. I did a little research and found that trilateral branching is a rare thing and is a great mother to have. I look forward to see the outcome of the plants. Any suggestions on seeds on rockwool, in hydroton, in 4 " pots, in a homemade bubbleponics set-up? (6 site each site has irrigation tube with outflow of 6 GPH [i would love to get a better distribution cap to increase flow like in the SH site videos]) 5.9 ph adjusted RO water, 6 gal rez, 50 ppm ( a little cal mag and roots excelerator)

Horny? Never heard that.

Here are the pictures i spoke of.:bigjoint:

Switched containers to 10 gal DWC. I believe the plant had whorled phyllotaxy and fixed itself at the second set of leaves. From each of the original three bracts, other branches have grown out, one of which expressing the whorled phyllotaxy. one shoot had four leaves on it and looked to have fixed itself at the second set. Pictures are coming. Waiting for a few of the shoots to gain some length so i can take a few clones and sex this shrub.

Nice i just got my satori seeds couple days ago, just so you know there is also a "Satori Mandala Seeds" thread.
