I grew out a pack of satori, got around six females I think, four were the christmas tree structure with pagoda/spear shaped buds, sativa leaves, and very powerful sativa highs. Two were shaggy fat leafed indica looking plants, producing one massive cola with minimal branching, and a high that had much more of a full spectrum effect, starting out as a racey and uplifting sativa but evening out to an uplifting but calm and creative buzz that lasted for quite some time. Tastes on this strain are very unique, there's lots of citrus accents including oranges, lemons, and limes, but not in a sweet candy or astringent cleaner way, but a more mellow dry herb way if that makes any sense; blended with a variety of herb/spice/insense tastes. Its very exotic, and I've never really had anything else like it.
It also breeds strongly as a fast flowering sativa, it can tighten up the bud structure and lower the stretch and flowering time on other longer flowering sativas without bringing down the high, similar to how some breeders use c99 or apollo, but with a very different high and flavor profile.
It was around two years ago, but I did manage to track down a harvest pic of my satori. Bag appeal wise its definitely not bad at all for a mostly landrace strain.
