Wasn't planning on messing with ph. I watered in a touch of lime for shots and giggles. I was told long ago to not ph soil so I don't.. I do have a ph and ec pens if I ever needSoil likes 6.8-7.0 not 5.5. If you’re going to try and ph.
I can try and take a read tonight, but I will say the 2 autos are in the same mixIf the problem doesn't improve i bet its the soil that is becoming too acidic... Not checking ph in soil in unwise imo. Another myth
Not checking it is not the "problem' ....the problem is trying to fix it. thats a whole game that does not need to be played unless you are using bags of soiless mix that you have no idea about or whats in it.If the problem doesn't improve i bet its the soil that is becoming too acidic... When I started and was using tap and phing my water I royally fucked some shit up when it was just my water supply that was causing it. Soo when I went to RO and stopped using ph up and down those issues all subsided.. granted these are all my first water only runs. And I know my souls will improve each round. Just frustratingNot checking it is not the "problem' ....the problem is trying to fix it. thats a whole game that does not need to be played unless you are using bags of soiless mix that you have no idea about or whats in it.
Underwatering is real.....it might not EVER happen in the real world but its surely happinng with the op..... Soil/peat/coco has to stay moist to work right.
Aside from my current issue and previous one of not having enough N to carry thru stretch (was getting lime green plants by week 2 flower) it's been extremely nice only giving water and not measuring out chemsNot checking it is not the "problem' ....the problem is trying to fix it. thats a whole game that does not need to be played unless you are using bags of soiless mix that you have no idea about or whats in it.

When you are trying to go full organic , you HAVE to keep the medium moist. Also for situations just like this one , its always good to have some instant food laying around. It will NOT hurt the organics , it will improve EVERYTHING in the pot. then once the soil is healthy , it will start feeding your plant the goodies you put in it. Not until then will it even use those goodies. They cannot break down without the help of a healthy soil.Yeah nothing wrong with a shot of bottle food say 1/4 strength. Will help much quicker.
Do not get me wrong , i wish i could run water only.....and im getting there but building a good soil to suit your strains is kinda hard to do. The hardest part is keeping the plant and thje soil healthy enough to let the organics take over. I'll be water only the second i get my worm farm.Aside from my current issue and previous one of not having enough N to carry thru stretch (was getting lime green plants by week 2 flower) it's been extremely nice only giving water and not measuring out chems
True water only organics is going to require a much larger pot like Green says. (bigger pot = more food =plant grows healthy) Also the bigger pot give the bacteria much more surface area to breed and live in.I don’t have time to see if someone has touched on this but. Organic soil grows need wayyyyyy bigger pots. For a plant that size 7-15 gallons. 7 being the absolute smallest. Let alone fabrics. Those poor roots are being tortured and bound. Nothing else to think about until this fixed. Instead of trying to chase your tail with def. fix the basics first.
and yes ro water is not preferred. At least go with a small boy declorinatortype filter or nothing. Or half ro half tap.
I gave em 1/4 strength nutes last night w the tea of gen org stuff. Bloom, bud booster , ca mg, seaweed.True water only organics is going to require a much larger pot like Green says. Pre cooking you soil helps a LOT. using fresh ingredients will take awhile to be available to the plant. You can speed that up by cooking the soil for a week or 3 before potting next time. (or even this time....up pot them into something big and loaded with food and you will make it to the end with water only)
A tad of molasses to junop start things is always a good idea. Yukka is another goodie that will help break up any unused salts laying in the current pot. For now you just need to feed them with something instant.
I also got hydrosolate fish liquid coming today too. Figure I'll feed that with my water tonightTrue water only organics is going to require a much larger pot like Green says. Too dressed with castings 2 days ago and last week"Bloom, bud booster , ca mg, seaweed "
That sure aint enough nitrogen. You got castings or compost to use ?
The first pic on this thread , your girls were drooping to almost the point of death .....that was a simple underwatering that day. soon as you watered them they stood back up....should have anyways...
Not sure it matters or helps but the tea is ewc, boos blend Malibu compost, kelp. Crab, bat hi N, neem, langbeinite, alfalfa and molasses 2tbl of everything except langbeinite and humic. Pinches there. I use weekly. Except lang"Bloom, bud booster , ca mg, seaweed "

Yes that helps a lot. Sounds like you may need a boost of mg to get the ball rolling. Give them a couple doses of epson salt in a row then post some pics....Not sure it matters or helps but the tea is ewc, boos blend Malibu compost, kelp.
