What strain(s) are you growing and how long do you plan to veg and flower? I'm just curious so we can get a general idea of what to expect.
Hi, just wanted to know how to obtain, what is available as far as size of units. I've posted before in this thread, diff handle. Maybe I missed something?
Ya we had a lot of fun. We went scuba diving, zip-lining, rappelling, and several other activities while we were gone, and the weather was amazing! We definitely needed a trip like that to recharge a bit. I'll try to get some update pictures tomorrow from my friend's garden, and will take a few tonight of my own. My caretaker never does as good of a job with my plants as I do, when I'm gone, so my plants suffered a little bit, but not too much. Anyhow, you'll be able to see the bit of stress they went through without my care.
where did u go?
Well, so much for LEDGirl. Clearly a scammer as Cali Buddz said. Nobody actually bought that 40 pound Chinese crap did they?
With her wife? Oh yeah, they can do that now can't they.
What happened to LEDGirl, get popped or something?
Growing strawberry cough, soma sour D, and one cheese plant in a stinkbud aero/nft flower set-up. Seven plants total on this first run, they were in my cloner for 5-7 days after popping roots, and then vegged under a 6500k T5 for 4 weeks.
They are on their 7th day of flower under three of the 126W units right now, The fourth will go in when I add a third rack in about 5-6 weeks. Still waiting for fresh cuttings to root and still waiting on a hydrogen minigen for co2 in the cab, should be in this week.
If I can average two ounces per plant in this small space (3 x 4.5), with three week veg times in the future, I'll be more than happy. Led girl claims 4-8 ounces per plant topping a couple times and flowering at 18". I put them into flower at 12" but maybe I'll learn I can go longer because of the the tighter internode with LED. It's gonna be a fun experiment.
When I get a decent camera I'll post a journal.
Hey folks,
I skipped over most of the pages in this thread, so I apologize if this has been mentioned already. Anyways, I applaud the research into LEDs that is being conducted right now, but I think there is a much more viable option for the future of lighting -- plasma bulbs. They are fairly new, so not a lot of people have heard about them. However, IMO, they are more efficient than anything out there right now. I want less heat not more heat in my growing......from what I understand these are very hot lights....![]()

Hey LEDGirl, you ever dive Puget Sound? The thing I love about cold water diving is how much respect you get from dive staff at warm water places like Roatan or Bonaire. My wife and I were laughing when the dive master apologized that visibility was only 75' on one of our dives. 5'-10' visibility isn't unusual diving in Washington.
My wife and I were thinking about getting certified up here, but we both hate cold water lol! I think we'll just do the program the next time we're in Mexico. Any time I've even wore a snorkel in Puget Sound, I wasn't able to see more than about 10' lol.
