Wouldn't it be up to the cops to prove it was illicit? Innocent until proven guilty. A mmar or acmpr grower can legally share up to 30g at a time. If the guy says my buddy Chris gave me some from his supply - no laws have been broken.
Well no, they can still charge you especially if you got no ACMPR license. Then its up to you to spend $5-20K fighting it.

no but recreational WE SURELY CAN lol :weed::idea::hump:bongsmilie:clap:(:
double tag teamed eh ! ;)
Exactly ...

Medical patients registered to grow can add 4 plants to their plant count if they are in a province that allows recreational growing

Already added 4 to my garden ... gonna purposely seed some buds with some pollen I have in the freezer and then gift that bud to people

Seeing as currently the only source of legal starting materials is from LP's which can only be accessed by registered personal production patients I figured I can make some seedy buds with my legally bought strains and give them away to people ... I'm giving away my recreational alotment which is sourced legally which in turn makes the seeds in the bud a legal source by default

At least that is the way I see it

Unless you were caught with a massive amount of 'illicit' pot, it is not a criminal charge but just a ticket. You can challenge the fine in court just like a speeding ticket and it is up to the Crown to prove it was illicit. Mines' an injunction(ed) mmar license so it would make things even more confusing for a cop. The law is there to prevent illegal sales - nobody cares where you bout your personal bag of weed unless they can tie it to a non-taxpaying source..

Don't forget the 4 plants everyone is allowed to grow. Once you add that to what you've mentioned it's a logistical nightmare. Never gonna happen past wtf they have written on paper. The moment they try they're gonna realize how impractical on all fronts it is.

You can take 50 samples from 50 growers of the same strain and no 2 will look the same. So how the hell are they going to enforce this? We're all waiting for an answer that doesn't exist. Now we just sit back and wait until they admit it themselves.
