Hello all, I'm a relatively new grower but a long time marijuana enthusiast. My studies in Industrial Engineering have given me a substantial background in Quality Control. My ultimate goal is to translate these tools into the Medical Marijuana Industry. My idea is fairly simple but could blossom into a new standardization for the industry. Here it goes...
I wish to collaborate with local groups of dispensaries around the country to provide a sort of "auditing service". The inspection frequency and depth has yet to be determined. I will eventually need to involve dispensaries in the formulation of this initiative. I will use a company web site to drive the whole operation. The site will be used to post the results of quality inspections of this community of medical marijuana dispensaries. This serves as a sort of accredidation that will keep the market competitive and therefore increase the overall standards for medical marijuana. Dispensaries will benefit from complying from repeat business of the educated consumer as well as a sort of free advertising - up to date inspection results and photos will be posted online.
My question for you all is this....what do you want to know about your weed? Obviously THC content and presence of pesticides are a concern. And of course CBD levels...anything else? anything at all? If you could design a survey what questions would you want it to ask you? All input is appreciated. Thanks so much and happy toking
