Marijuana STIGMAS - The best is Home-Grown is it not? Then why the stigma?

Why do ignorant people hear "HOME GROWN" and auto-matticlly assume it is not good. Some of the best smoke in the world is grown indoors is it not? The other day this guy I work with wanted some smoke. He asked me if I knew were to obtain some. I told him "I knew a guy that knew a guy, who grew his own smoke". He immmediately said "no thanks I do not like home-grown . I only like really good smoke". I have heard this reply time and time again. I try to tell people that the best bud in the world is grown-indoors(for the most part). I try to educate people by asking one simple question. Do you like hydro? They ALL reply "ya I like to smoke dro". Well then, you like to smoke Home-grown bud my friend. Its sad that people who smoke bud don't know a snow flake in a blizards info about the beautiful bounty from god. I would love to hear some more stories or monstrousotis (I made that word up by the way, I think) tales and un-true Stigmas given to the one girl we can all love, and not want to punch each other in the face, but rather hang out and have a good time! ! ! I would love to hear how many other peole hear this rediculous comment......

I hear this all the time, the truth is most of the weed on the streets is actually "home grown" just on a bigger scale. I think the bad rep come's from people who have smoked "home-grown" weed that was not properly cured or harvested to early so they assume all home grown weed is like that.

lol i hope you told that idiot, what would you rather smoke some wild weed noone has looked after or some chronic that is chronic because the plants been giving everything it needs and has been cared for daily

years ago when i was at school a guy we new's parents grew some weed outside and it was fucking shiiiiiit, from then on we said home-grown was shit but we were retarded kids with no idea lol.

Home Grown from my use of the word and others around me usually just meant it was locally grown, but wasn't very good shit. And usually outdoors.

Yeh 'homies'/'homegrown' has a negative stigma attached to it. We also call homegrown, the shit stuff, which some amateur grew in his not so good a-team/mcguyver grow. I know it aint right, but thats the way it is. The good stuff gets names like 'pukka' 'peng' 'potes' lol

home grown is a old timer term...just means it was grown in normal dirt in the backyard

What about the hydro systems people use at home? LOL. I am finding it easier to just tell people the buds are imported, by my cousin, from Amsterdam, and he is in the army. He gets them from a coffee shop. Lmao. Its like a form of reverse psychology that has to be used on the people that dont know any better. The funny thing is it works and some people really believe this. This one dude said he wants to move to Europe just so he can get fire smoke on a regular basis. Some people are just dumb!

asking a guy like that if he smoked hydro is pointless. he wouldn't know hydro if it shit in his eye. most people wouldn't. i wouldn't. a lot of the uninformed masses picture some huge warehouse run by chinese spies or something when they think of good shit. i don't know where they think it comes from. old timers (50+) are the worst. they SWEAR they know what they're talking about because back in the day things were a certain way, and back in '72 homegrown was usually shit. most of it was imported sativas and there were no online superstores to buy hid lights and no forums for people to learn how to grow dank in their closets, so homegrown was the loose airy underripe crap that they remember. somehow this got passed to the younger generations because a lot of young people swear by it too. people just like to hear themselves talk and sill rumors and myths continue. keep your good shit for yourself and give your coworker the number of the nearest schwag peddler. he wants the 'mersh.

that's crazy, down here people pay premium prices for homegrown. and not because it's waaaay good or anything, just be cause it's called homegrown. it's weird you know people that think otherwise.

but then again, i live in an area where people only think dank is "dro", and don't understand ANYTHING, so really, what can you expect?
