Marine Cuisine Tea

i have recently been looking up teas and have not seen one use this. alot use compost they make. or ancient forest compost because it has a good amount of microbes and fungi.
I'll be interested to see what kind of responces you get here, because I use Marine Cuisine (just not as a Tea). First off, I would think that 1 cup MC per 2 gallons of water is way too much (that's enough for 16 gallons of soil mix, or about two 1 1/2 cu. ft. bags).
First of all, let me correct what I said in post #4 - 16 gallons is about 2 cu. ft. of soil, not 2 "bags".
The way I use it, it doesn't "run out". I keep repotting into larger pots, periodically, so there is always a "fresh" layer of soil available to the roots. Since the vast majority of the roots' new growth is "congregated" around the circumferance (and toward the bottom) of the soil in the pot - it all works out very well!
Marine Cuisine is not the only fertilizer I have going on in there! I mix my own soil and it is fully 25% Composted Steer Manure. I mix the Marine Cuisine with two other, similar, "Meal" based fertilizers (not FoxFarms products) at about 1/3 of a dose each. I use this same soil mix from the time the plants (clones) are "a couple of weeks" old - all the way through harvest. During the veg stage I use Mexican bat guano tea and/or 5-1-1 fish emulsion. During the flowering stage I use Indonesian bat guano tea and/or 0-10-10 fish emulsion.

This Marine Cuisine stuff is simply AMAZING !!! I'm sold on the simplicity of it.
Through researching AACTs and other sorts I also had this idea and was wondering if anyone tried it and had any success? At least for use in veg.

"I'd stay away from using the MC as a tea, some of amendments in the MC are not soluable in water. Also activaing the quick release ferts contained in the MC might cause more harm than good. Focus on amendments that are High in (P) (I like bat guano) and High in (K) (I like dry soluble Sea Kelp or Sea Kelp meal) "
fox farms marine cuisine is the shit though! Do NOT fear the high N! Your plant will eat it. Just don't use after week 3 of flowering. Supplement with teas and your golden.

I make tea's with marine cuisine with no problems. I mix probably 2-3 tbsp per 5 gallons. I can't tell ya the exact ppm because I end up mixing other stuff in there as well.
I also top dress with it as well.

So the time release ferts are NOT a problem? The mix is great so I'm very curious as to how good it works.
How long do you mix for and how long will it be able to sit? Any other details are very much appreciated. Thanks!
