Mars hydro tsw 2000 from seed?

Hey so I got the mars hydro tsw 2000 and some one week old plants that have first true leaves and second ones starting to show. Would it be a bad idea to use the new mars hydro tsw 2000 I got or should I stay with the two 65 watt cfl lights that I have on them so far. Manufacturers say light can be used but to place it 24 inches away.. light comes with a dimmer but there is no way to match up both sides of light to same percentage of power. Dimmer has 100% 75% 50% and 25 percent that you have to adjust with a screw driver. I’m not sure if running light at full power from 24 inches would be to much light for such a little plant. What would you guys suggest I do?

Use your light, homie.
Dim both drivers all the way down with the screw potentiometer, and you'll be golden.

Yeh, buddy. 18-24" is fine n dandy. But you will only be at like 75 watts so you could honestly out them 8-14" away if you wanted. Try dimmed all the way, and 12" away.

I’m not sure if it means 75 watts. The settings are 100% 75% 50% and 25%. I’m not 100% sure what watt light this actually is but I believe it pulls around 300 from what I understand

Thanks again homie. First grow with fem seeds so I’m hoping it goes well. I used some normal seeds found in bags for first grow but I stayed with just cfl lights. They got about a foot tall because I had the cfl like 15 inches away lol. I’ve done a ton of research and have a better setup now so I figured I’d give it a shot. Thanks for the tips and I’m glad I’m talking to another mars hydro owner. Can I ask what the difference between the tsw and ur tsL are or if you know

TSW is a nice square, TSL is a long rectangle.

Right on ..we are about at the same stage ..I have a 3.5 x 3.5 x 70 tent with the same light as you..I put germed seeds in soil on 3/1..my light was left on factory power settings.. light is raised all the way up..my seedlings look happy so far...btw I used to grow with 600hps about 5 years ago... haven't grown since then and pulled the trigger on this light... sorry for the rant can you tell I'm excited to grow again ... subbed..rock on !

Does your mars hydro produce a decent amount of heat? It’s 70 inside my house and 85 in tent
