Marshydro 300 beginner questions

I have a 4x2x6 grow tent and 2 marshydro 300 5w led lights. I'm only going to be using 1 for right now starting seedlings off with it. My question is whats a good height for the light for seedlings then when they start to grow what height. I'm new to all this so any input would help. Thanks everyone

25-30 inches

They'll work OK, not great. Better than a kick in the pants. Supplement with CFL for better quality. Keep temps between 70 and 85 or so. I keep mine about a foot above the canopy during flower.

Yeah this will be my first time using them and actually...first grow lol so I wont be able to tell how good they work just yet. Thanks for all the input so far though! much appreciated!

Heres a update on grow. Exactly day 29 for seed planted till now. When should I consider to start 12/12 to flower? Recently been using pro blend grow feeding to it but thats about it for chemicals. Not the best pics. Ive trimmed a bit of the big fan leaves from bottom that were huge not letting light down below.

ps. I have topped once.

depends on how big you want them to get.the 5w leds can produce good buds down into the canopy pretty good @ say 24 inches. your plants look nice n short growth wise i dont think they will stretch alot when you flip them to 12/12 so i think i would wait till they are 12 to 18 inches and flip em.if they get too tall like over 36 in just take some of the lower branches off @ 2 weeks flowering.this plant is just over 4 feet tall from the soil to the tops of the tallest colas under a mars panel,5w diodes. not much worth trimming down past 30 inches.i should have taken more off the bottom.but the fluffy stuff did get used in cannabutter

Wow looks like the Mars do work....I think my only concern would be the warranty...I have to stop hiding and give one a try

They work just fine for 1 plant. 100+ grams for a 60 dollar light.

But for $70 for a 300 watt it's almost disposable or better yet if it burns out hack it and ad some cobs

Im using a mars 300 but i got 3 plants under it....hopefully i get a decent yield

What I was thinking of doing is running strains that put out 2-3 oz each so if I mess up I can still maybe get a zip...

Do you have pic of your setup?....heres mine it's 18" x 76" can't remember the height. Plus I have a 33 can filter which takes up a lot of room

I bought 2 of mars 300 on ebay for 130$. I only have 2 og kush in tent and a light on both of them now but only needed one during seedling and small veg state. how far from the plant is everyone keeping the light from the top of plant?
